with the BCS Foundation Certificate in Information Security Management Principles

Are you looking to learn more about Information Security, or CISMP? Do you want a leading UK qualification to cement your knowledge of risk management, security standards, and the relevant legislation?

If so, then take this course. You’ll understand the key principles behind keeping data safe, and will be able to apply this new knowledge in your day-to-day work.

The demand for information security professionals continues to rise as our lives grow more digital, and data protection professionals undertaking roles such as Data Protection Officer (DPO) are being turned to more frequently for security-related advice. This course will cover legal guidance and practical topics to help you confidently tackle these questions going forward – and will add value and credibility to your CV.

This course is non-technical, so provides a thorough and accessible approach to information security, perfect for those new to the cyber industry or wanting to provide assurance that their organisation is fully compliant. The course is also interactive, so you will be encouraged to ask questions throughout, and can share your real-world experiences with other attendees, discussing issues and ideas to help them within their role.

When you train with us at DPAS, you’ll get more than just the training. We’ll provide you with free policies, templates, and tools after the course has concluded, as well as a BCS associate membership for one year following successful completion of the exam that is included within the course price. We will also supply you with the relevant resources to help you throughout, alongside the BCS Information Management Security Principles book that will be sent to you ahead of the course.
