It’s been a busy week in the news regarding Data Protection. Two notices of intention to fine in the travel sector for infringements of the GDPR have occurred. This is the first time we are seeing the potential for large fines and I expect to see lots more in the coming months. It’s time to ensure you train your DPO.
GDPR is about transparency, lawful and fair processing, identifying and assessing risks. Once you have done this, the law requires you to put in place action which not only demonstrates compliance but make a tangible difference to the security of your data processing.
A great way to ensure that you organisation is complying to the legislation and protecting data, is to ensure that your Data Protection Officer has sufficient training. This enables them to advise and lead.
Our Training
Our DPO training is not all “chalk and talk” delivered by DPOs. We use:
- case studies from our own experience
- relevant legal cases
- interactive learning
- tools we have developed
- group sessions
- competence-based learning
This ensures that DPOs are confident and supported to go back into their organisation and deliver GDPR assurance.
You’ll be trained by an experienced Data Protection Officer. Additionally, we also give you access to added-value products and services that allow you to start work as a DPO with everything you may need.
